Firstly, congratulations!!!
You have landed on this page if you are expecting your new baby soon, or, your baby is already here. What a lovely way to capture those first few weeks than with their very own photography session. You will look back on these precious memories for years to come; often looking in awe at how tiny they once were.
Newborn photography is ideal for babies from approximately 5-21 days old, as at this age those curled up positions come more naturally and they are more likely to stay asleep longer so I can create those iconic sleepy newborn poses. If your baby is a little older, that’s not a problem. I can still create some wonderful images for you.
With older babies my beautiful “awake” poses highlight those stunning baby eyes and that gorgeous little smile.
My sessions are completely baby led and the comfort of you and your little one is paramount. I ensure that we have enough time during your session for feeds and changing. My studio is nice and warm and calming. You get chance to relax whilst I get to work creating those memories. I have a good selection of props and accessories so there is no need for you to provide anything for the session apart from extra nappies and feeds, but if you have received a special gift or have a family heirloom that you would like included then please bring it along.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
Andrea photographed our daughter when she was just a week old. The whole shoot was professional but laid back and Andrea put us immediately at ease. Our little girl was very wriggly and but Andrea had loads of patience and was really flexible with backgrounds / outfits / props, etc. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and are a lovely memory of our tiny newborn. I would highly recommend Andrea!

I offer a range of packages to suit any budget. I can also create bespoke packages to suit your preferences, so please get in touch and I will be happy to discuss. A £99 deposit is taken to secure your booking. This is then deducted from your final package price below:

BEAUTIFUL
Andrea photographed my son when he was 2 weeks old. He wasn’t your typical sleepy newborn so took him a fair amount of time to actually fall asleep even after feeding. She was incredibly patient with him and very accommodating to us all as I ended up needing to take 2 of my older children with me (one of whom was a very boisterous 2 year old). Thank you Andrea, the photos were beautiful.
YOUR QUESTIONS
When should I book my newborn photoshoot?
It’s never too early. Once you know your due date we can pencil you in 10-14 days after this date. If your baby comes early or late please keep in touch and we will reschedule accordingly.
What happens if my baby won’t settle for the newborn photoshoot?
Your little one’s happiness is my number one priority. If for any reason your baby is too fussy to complete the photoshoot on the day, I will happily reschedule at no cost.
Do I need to do anything to prepare my baby for the photoshoot?
A guide to your newborn shoot will be emailed prior to the session with information of what to expect on the day.
Can Dad and/or older siblings be included in some of the newborn photos?
Absolutely! However it is best if they can come at the end of the session so I can keep the environment calm and concentrate on your newborn.
